We had a very nice Thanksgiving again this year and missed all those that were not able to attend. We did have 30 people attend our Thanksgiving meal which was held in one of the dining room at our church…only 8 of those 30 were non family. I do believe that the dressing I made this year was some of my best along with the turkey and the gravy. All that attended contributed a dish, or two, so there was LOTS of food and a wide variety with many yummy looking desserts….I hear the desserts were great.
We are headed to Bowling Green on Tuesday. to welcome our #8 great-grandson, Miles, the first son for Kyle and Gabby. I know he will be a joy to us all throughout his life. From Bowling Green, we’ll head for Florida. We are excited about seeing , and spending time, with all the friends we’ve made there. We realize that we won’t be making this trek many more times so each year they become a little more special.
We continue to remain healthy for the most part and feel very blessed to have the life we do. We know several people not as old as we are that are not doing as well. We thank the good Lord every day. We are BLESSED!
There’s really no news so I’ll just say I love you that still read these seldom written post and I’m thankful you’re in my life. Pray we have safe travels, stay well, and enjoy making new memories with friends and each other.
