Another week flew by!

We had a good time last week with Scott and Allison.  The guys enjoyed a successful fishing trip on Friday, see George’s blog for more details, while the girls had a successful shopping trip.  Wonder which one spent the most?

Scott and Allison were here only a few day, but we were thankful they made the effort to be here.  They went back to Orlando on Saturday so they could enjoy Sea World before flying home on Sunday…a long day of airport fun but they did make it home safely.

I know most of you are having COLD weather, but our weather is really cool for Florida.  It’s only getting into the high 50’s today with a rather strong wind.  So there will be no sun tanning today.  It is a beautiful day, however.

We spent all day in Sarasota yesterday…church, art fair, Starbucks, trying to find a place to stay warm and out of the wind, and then some family time with some of George’s cousins.  Jerry and Gary Don had come for a spiritual retreat with the men of the church David and Sophia attend.  It was quite an interesting celebration they had for them when they returned.  We didn’t get home until midnight, having left our place at 8:30 am, so we plan to stick close by the house today.

We continue to enjoy our time here but I really miss our grandkids and church family.  We only have three weeks +/- before we get back to reality.  My but time has really flow by this year!  Could it possible be an age thing?

I’m reading another book by Francine Rivers and it’s started out really good so I’ll probably have it finished this week.  It’s called “Leota’s Garden” for those interested in getting a good novel to read during these cold, cold days.

Much love to each of you and would love to hear from you.

    Ann,

Glad to see you’re keeping busy. We miss you guys, and are continuing to keep an eye on how things are going for you. When is the plan to return to KY?

Jenny says hi. She has your order and wants to get it to you once you get home.
