A different kind of Easter……..

Come June, George and I will have been married 58 years.  During these 58 years we have never had an Easter all alone.  We are thankful for the time to remember the Lord’s resurrection, and that there is hope for tomorrow, but we missed being with the family.  We have so many great memories of the times we all got together at our house for a big Easter lunch, the Easter egg hunt, and the excitement of the grandkids with their treasures.  So very thankful for these memories.

We are still staying confined to the house and doing our best to avoid this coronavirus.  We do manage to stay busy, most days, and I have managed to get some heavy duty house cleaning accomplished…with George’s help on some of this…and that’s always a plus.  I still have some project to accomplish but the desire to get them done is lacking.

Today is another Kentucky “GLOOMY” day and one that makes me feel so isolated.  The wind is blowing hard, but the rain has left for now, so I am thankful we’re not having the tornadoes others had yesterday in Mississippi and Georgia.  Can’t imagine having to go to a shelter to avoid a tornado while staying 6+ feet away from everyone to avoid the virus.

There’s really no news, or things of interest, to share so guess I’ll go crochet for awhile.  Who knows…I may even start on cleaning the kitchen cabinets.  Stay safe, stay well, and Clark take care of that back.  NO MORE HEAVY LIFTING for awhile, anyway.  I love you all, enjoy our Sunday night visits via Zoom, and looking forward to seeing what all our new normals will eventually look like.

Blessings……
