Good-bye July

July was a very HOT month, with virtually no rain for most of the month, and the virus still runs rapid here in Kentucky.  We continue to do the “stay at home” for the most part and our big outings consist of going to Kroger, Wal-Mart, or Lowe’s.  Of course, we use hand sanitizer before and after going into one of these places and we always wear a mask.  I’m sure hoping the vaccine is available before January so we can still go to Florida.  Otherwise, that’s still an iffy proposition.

August is Linda’s birthday month and I wish her a very happy birthday.  The kids are scheduled to go back to school, or college, and will have some in person classes along with most classes being online…not their favorite way of learning.  Jerod and Rebekkah have both started on their doctorate programs…he’s in medical (MD) and she’s in chemistry (PhD).  They are both super smart but these programs are not easy so we wish them well as they fulfill their dreams.  Meredith is super excited to introduce Colton as her fiance’ now and is sporting a beautiful diamond ring to prove it.   Lacey married her partner in a quiet ceremony a week, or so, ago.  Congratulations to them.  Melissa and Byron have purchased another condo and are currently getting it cleaned up…big job…and ready to rent.  She is also selling houses faster than one would expect and needs more inventory.  She’ll list a house and have it sold…for way over the asking price…within two days, if not sooner.  George had successful basel cell places removed on his face and one required a skin graft.  He’s healed up nicely.

I guess that’s about the most exciting things I know to write about.  Have a great August and keep praying this nasty virus can be contained and destroyed ASAP…I want to see the beach this winter…and that we all continue to do our part in not spreading it.  WEAR YOUR MASK.  Love to all.

Blessings…..
