Every day is about the same….

Who would have ever thought that when we got home in March from two great months in Florida, we’d still be at home?  This CODIV-19 is so scary, and unpredictable, that we just won’t take a chance on going out for fun.  We do go to the grocery, an occasional carry out from a favorite restaurant, doctor appointments, to walk several times a week, and church on the front porch.  We ALWAYS wear a mask, and do our best to keep the social distancing at the six feet, or more, and that’s about it.  No one ever told us retirement would be this exciting!  This will all end at some point, and I am so ready for that point to get here.

This month has been busy for some of the family, just not us.  Lacey got married, Blake, Grayson, and Tyler are back at their chosen colleges and expecting another great season of learning…first year for Grayson, Meredith and Colton got engaged, Carter and Lori sold their house in Franklin, TN and bought a new one on the lake in Florence, ALabama, Blake survived COVID-19 and his parent are now able to go back to work, Neyland and Turner are at a new school and adjusting well. Clark and Vanessa moved Brendon back to California and then did some sight seeing on the way home, Melissa and Byron bought a couple of condo’s to update and rent out…preparing for retirement that will start in about a year…, Kyle and Gabby have set a wedding date, Chase has been in some special training at Ft. Briggs, Emily started a new job along with her own bookkeeping company, and all others are doing well as “No News Is Good News”.

We’ve had some really hot days this month but we’ve also had some great days of cooler weather, low humidity, and no AC needed.  The guest house continue to do well and we are thankful for that….lots of cleaning, sterilizing, and laundry but that’s OK as I’m home anyway.

With our exciting life, that’s about it for now.  Love to all and pray for the day we can all hug one another.

Blessings……
