We voted…..

Well, tomorrow will determine which direction our country goes for the next four years…or more…and it’s a very disturbing time.  Our country has become so divided, unkind, and self-centered that the future looks a little bleak.  My prayer each day is that God, and only God can accomplish this, repair our country, hearts, and minds.

November has definitely started out COLD and I’m sure not liking that.  The low last night was 26 and by this weekend we’ll be back up in the 70’s, for only a few days. Thank goodness that it was a very pleasant evening on Halloween and the kids, along with the adults, all enjoyed being out.  Our normal activity of “Treats On Main” was cancelled but the neighborhood Tanya and Daniel live in was packed.  Since we’ve only had one child come to our door in the 13 years we’ve lived here, we went over to Tanya’s to pass out goodies…individually packed in a snack size bag, and the kids could pick which one they wanted.  Fun time and some really cute costumes.

Tomorrow we will celebrate Vanessa’s birthday and we are thankful for her.  Vanessa is doing a really good business, along with help from Clark, selling antiques, refurbished furniture, etc and she has three booths, currently.  She’s doing really well from all indication and loving it as the $$$$$ flows in.

George and I are still planing on heading to Florida on December 16th and will return home on March 1.  We’ve added two extra weeks and we’ll be occupying a friends place those two weeks since they won’t be down there yet….thanks you Ahern’s!  We decided that if must continue sitting at home, we might as well be warm.  We’ll do all the same means of keeping ourselves safe…mask, social distance, no indoor dining in a restaurant, no guest except on the lanai, etc.  We’re praying a vaccine will be available soon and we will definitely get one.  Pray we stay well and safe, please.

Just a little less than two weeks and Kyle and Gabby will be married.  Their wedding is a true COVID-19 wedding…immediate family only…but we feel sure it will be meaningful and beautiful wedding just like Jerod and Rebekah’s was this past June.  Life has sure changed due to the virus but it does continue on, thankfully.

Guess that’s about it for now.  Have a great week, stay warm, healthy, and pray COVID-19 will be eradicated soon.  Love to all.

Blessings……
