Here it is the middle, plus a couple of days, of January and I haven’t been on here at all this month. Not even sure I submitted anything last month.
We are currently in Venice, Florida and have been here since December 1, 2021 and will be here until February 28, 2022. That ‘s the longest we’ve ever been here and so far it’s been good. This is our fifth year to winter here in the Japanese Gardens and we truly love this park. We have good neighbors, made some friends, and the accommodations are veery adequate. We don’t do a lot away from the park, due to COVID still being everywhere, but we do go to the beach quite often and enjoy the sights, and sounds, we have there. Some of the sights are more revealing than we need but I guess some women are just super proud of their butts.
George continues to do well and we are very thankful for that. He is hoping to do a little fishing again tomorrow and he’s thinking his luck will finally change. So far he’s fished only a couple of times and has caught nothing, or nothing to brag about. It’s been fairly windy a lot of our time here and now it’s quite cool for Florida…46 right now. The weather changes may just get the fish interested in biting those funky lures or stinky shrimp. He only catches and releases but the joy of fishing is always there.
I have done a lot of crocheting…made a scarf for each of the five ladies I meet with most Monday’s when at home…and have read several books. We both walk a few miles most every day and being here is like being at home…you just live your life and it’s warmer and never any snow or ice.
